Chapter 1 : Lost in Another World, A Rapid Escape with Theodore
The summer sun blazed down, making the afternoon heat almost unbearable, as if it intended to roast everyone alive. The bustling Moonlit Ancient Town suddenly fell silent, with countless people gathering around Bright Moon Bridge, gazing in awe at the solitary, ethereal figure standing on the bridge.
On the riverbank, numerous crew members braved the scorching sun, setting up cameras to capture the person on the bridge.
"Mr. Percy, please turn around. I need to get a shot of your face."
At these words, the person on the bridge instinctively turned his head.
"Click—"
A perfect shot of a beautiful person glancing back was captured.
Zooming in, Jonathan Percy was dressed in a form-fitting black cheongsam, adorned with majestic golden lotus flowers embroidered on it. The large lotus leaves spread across the hem, making him appear even more stunning and delicate.
The high slit design revealed his long, fair legs, making him look like a deity descended to earth, untouchable and divine.
Behind Jonathan was a continuous stretch of green mountains, and below was a stream with blooming lotuses, sparkling under the sunlight, creating a scene that resembled a paradise.
"Mr. Percy, we''re done!"
Seeing the photographer give an OK sign, Jonathan finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Who knew how long he had endured this? He was a strong Alpha, yet now... If it weren''t for losing a dare last night and being forced to wear women''s clothing for a photoshoot, he would never have done this...
He was so miserable!
"Alright, I''m coming down." After finishing the last photo, Jonathan prepared to head to the dressing room to change out of the uncomfortable cheongsam.
But accidents always happen unexpectedly.
"Stop the thief!"
"Help, stop the thief!"
...
A commotion broke out in the crowded area. The thief, a sleazy Beta holding a knife, made people hesitant to approach. Seeing himself surrounded, he made a desperate dash towards the open bridge.
Jonathan, seeing the thief running into a trap, was ready to catch him. However, things didn''t go as planned. Jonathan forgot he was wearing eight-centimeter high heels, which he wasn''t skilled at managing. As he extended his foot, he stepped on his dress, causing himself to fall into the lake instead.
Flailing in the water, Jonathan shouted for help, "Help! I can''t swim!..."
"Someone save him!"
...
Panic-stricken shouts erupted around him. Jonathan struggled desperately, but the lake was deep, and he soon sank. Before losing consciousness, his only thought was why he couldn''t swim. He might be the first Alpha to drown because of high heels and a dress. How embarrassing!
Simultaneously, a green light flashed at the bottom of the lake, and Jonathan vanished.

Another Dimension.
New Era 3015, July 5th, 2:30 PM.
An intense gunfight was taking place in the eastern part of The Forest of Spirits. The dazzling sunlight filtered through the dense leaves, stinging Jonathan''s face slightly. He slowly opened his bleary eyes and took in his surroundings.
A forest? How could this be? He distinctly remembered falling into the water. How did he end up in a forest?
Was this a new show, or had he encountered a psycho?
Jonathan had many questions, but first, he needed to get out of there. The forest at night was dangerous, especially one so dense and unfamiliar. Staying too long wouldn''t do him any good.
Jonathan stood up, brushed off the dirt, and looked at the sun to quickly determine his direction. He began walking east, surveying the unfamiliar forest, determined to find a way out.
As he searched for an exit, his high heels once again proved to be a stumbling block.
It made Jonathan twist his ankle every three steps, making the once swift walker now slower than a snail. Jonathan looked at his worn-out shoes and really wanted to throw them away, but if he did, what would he wear? This forest was full of dangers, and without shoes, it would be hard to walk out barefoot. Plus, there were probably a lot of small animals in the forest, likely leaving droppings everywhere. If he accidentally stepped on one...
Jonathan imagined the scene and his face turned pale. Compared to that, these damn high heels weren''t so unbearable. The sun was getting hotter, birds circled in the sky, and their occasional cries made the otherwise silent forest seem eerie. Jonathan looked up at the clear blue sky, feeling a twinge of unease. The atmosphere here was too quiet, making him feel creepy, as if something was about to happen.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Gunshots suddenly rang out, startling a flock of birds. Jonathan''s heart skipped a beat as he saw bullets flying towards him. His body reacted quickly, dodging to the side, but he accidentally fell to the ground. Even so, a bullet grazed his arm, and blood started to flow, bringing a burning pain. Jonathan cursed under his breath. He shakily got up from the ground, looking at the dozen or so figures approaching. A fierce look appeared in his eyes. He couldn''t just sit and wait to be caught; he had to run.
Jonathan turned to flee, but as soon as he did, he bumped into a pair of cold eyes. He was so startled that he almost fell backward. Theodore Carnegie, seeing the frightened man, reached out and grabbed Jonathan''s wrist, pulling him back and scolding in a low voice, "If you don''t want to get caught, follow me."
Jonathan looked up at Theodore''s face, covered in blood and dirt, feeling a hint of caution. But now wasn''t the time to talk; any mistake could cost him his life. Theodore led Jonathan through the forest, constantly dodging bullets. Theodore''s arm was hit by two bullets, but he was used to injuries and didn''t pay much attention. Jonathan, seeing the enemies recklessly charging after them, felt anxious. His feet hurt badly, the high heels were rubbing his feet, but even so, he didn''t dare slow down. The wind whistled past, stinging his body. In Jonathan''s view, besides the dense forest and flying bullets, there was only the broad-shouldered man beside him.
"Where are you taking me?" he asked, frowning and panting. Theodore didn''t look back, just tightly held Jonathan''s hand and replied, "I don''t know."
